(Scarce German version)

 

The Colt brochure, written in German, measures 8.5 x 11 in., 8 pages, is printed on polished 2-sided paper in full color. A rare military 5.56 caliber version of the later civilian .223 caliber version of the AR-15. 

The brochure was printed in several languages other than English for a European trade presentation to potential military buyers in 1964.

Eventually, the AR-15 5.56 was renamed the M16 for the military and various versions were produced and sold through out the world.
