 Colt's Shooting Master Revolver

Produced 1931-1940s

Details for the Colt 'Shooting Master' revolver can be found in the link above. The Pre-WW2 Colt factory Shooting Master hinged boxes are dark brown/maroon in color, the box top feels thick and padded and is referred to as 'pebble-grained' texture.  There is typically no box-end sticker to show the details of the Shooting Master revolver, however, serial numbers and caliber may be hand-written in pencil in the interior of the lid.

Condition can vary greatly, but all are of interest even if the box is split or damaged.  Digital photos are the best way to determine condition and estimate value.  Some boxes are more common and others are more rare.  Prices will vary depending on  condition.
