This Colt Model 1908 semi-automatic pistol was produced in 1922. The pistol's serial number is 64809. The original barrel is in mint condition with a bright bore. The slide is serial numbered to the frame. This pistol shows very little sign of being fired. The slide is tight with no real play to the rails. The original bluing shows only slight high point wear. The bluing would rate a 98% or better condition. The original two tone magazine is also in very fine condition. The original hard rubber grips are in near new condition with no cracks or any kind of damage. The factory letter states that this Colt was shipped to Van Camp Hardware Co. Indianapolis Indiana on August 12 1922. The original period Winchester box of shells has 47 original shells in the box. This pistol also has the original instruction manual and special instruction pamphlet intact. (2022 H.L.V) |
